Filipinos love food, that is very certain. No wonder we see a lot of Filipino restaurants and eatery all over Dubai and other emirates. One of the hidden spots for a lovely night out with friends and family is Dagat Dagatan Restaurant.

1. Location

It was very convenient that the restaurant is situated inside the Grand Flora Hotel, nearest the Al Rigga metro station. From the hotel entrance to our right stands the inviting Dagat Dagatan.

2. Theme

The theme of the restaurant is derived from its name. The Tagalog word “dagat” means “sea”. Wooden pillars can be seen decorated with fishing nets with star fishes, shells, and other sea creatures nailed on it. The sweet and pastel paintings of the sea shore matches the tranquility of the place.
