Sentence me to your silent whispers
Like a song that you hum in secrecy,
Since am stuck underneath
Trying to break out
To catch a glimpse of your emerald beams.
But am just like a crack in the sky
That can never be stitched up
And am forever waiting
For the touch of your palms to patch me.
