May 1st… A Labor day and holiday in Indonesia. Today as well… my friends had a dance performance. I should be with them but I’m far away from them now so I could not join. Sad… that I missed to perform with them as we have had rehearsal together for almost 5 months for this dance.

They shared beautiful pictures of them to me. I am happy for them! Awesome guys! you did it well. Thank you our teacher for teaching us this dance patiently. I’m so sorry that I could not join. I always enjoyed doing rehearsal in every Sunday morning with them.

So, they were performing Balinese dance called Condong dance, part of Legong Kraton dance. It is very energetic dance and it has a beautiful costume. My friend who sent these pictures reminds me of how beautiful dances in Indonesia. Love it! Miss it!
