On a recent visit to Cades Cove, in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, I enjoyed seeing bears in a tree. Several park rangers were in place along the 11-mile loop through the park, to keep traffic moving below a resting mother bear…perched 25-feet above the road in an oak tree. The first photograph was taken through the front windshield while driving, while the second picture of a bear cub was taken 100-yards away in a windy field.
