Hi everyone! This isn’t the first time I’ve included Juan Gabriel cover songs after his death in late August. The Mexican singer and songwriter is/was a huge part of borderland culture. He owned property in El Paso, Juarez and other cities worldwide. He helped several orphans in Juarez.
Several local and worldwide musicians pay tribute to him by performing his songs. Today I’m featuring a marching band performance by Del Valle High School, along with middle school students. The marching band includes various Juan Gabriel songs in a little over three minutes. The video made the news in several cities. What do you think of the performance?
