Hubby has just nipped up for a shower so I’m here on the boat with the dog going through our emails and blog reader.
I can hear gentle chirruping, and know exactly who that might be.
A little while ago I could hear this little bird, but not see him.
Such a sweet little song, not intrusive, and quite relaxing in its tone and volume.
Looking out of the helm door, I finally saw him atop the pontoon pylon, singing his heart out.

Today, he’s back, and has got braver insomuch as he is sitting on the roof of the boat alongside. Our friend isn’t here working today, so my little visitor has the run of the roof and the acoustics of the marina with no buzzing or bass saw accompaniment.
