Was it just a dream?

“Why?” is not a question I will ever say.
For now I sleep~ and of heaven I will dream.
Hear the Angel’s voice? ~ Like poetry it seems.
She speaks of life beyond my mortal day.
I must be dreaming~ as she leads me away.
Allowed to look around feeling self esteem.
I see many faces~ with their eyes agleam.
The pain now gone~ I fall to my knees to pray.

As I kneel~ I can hear my brother’s voice say.
“Come with me now~ everyone is here waiting.”
I know it’s Heaven everything is right.
I heard another voice but said I could not stay.
My eyes now open~ I was only dreaming.
I wonder?~ Was it more than a dream last night?
