Sails though empty caught the light
of golden evening sun
as the windmill here at Kingston
was admired by everyone

We’d caught a glimpse on the descent
from the high Drover’s trail
but here up close and personal
its beauty was unveiled

A testament to ages past
the miller lays at rest
with his home, the Kingston windmill
restored to look its best
