Roger Waters, como um sujeito consciente do momento histórico e, crítico dos modelos de consumo vigentes, lança álbum com conteúdo suficientemente forte para nos fazer repensar posturas, nossa própria posição diante das desigualdades, as questões políticas, e sobre a forma como vivemos. Em mensagem dedicada aos brasileiros, Waters escreve em português: “Brasil, essa é a vida que realmente queremos?” A frase foi usada por para questionar os brasileiros sobre o cenário político nacional, com foto do presidente Michel Temer [imagem em destaque]. Waters é ativista político. Em 2015, liderou um boicote contra Israel e criticou os cantores Gilberto Gil e Caetano Veloso por terem acrescentado Tel Aviv em sua turnê comemorativa de 50 anos de carreira.

Today self and her nice went on a one-day tour to Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte and Chateau de Fontainebleau. The guide’s name was Laurence: she was great.

First stop was Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte. OMG, that estate is just fabulous. It’s privately owned. The main buildings are open to the public; no sign of the family that owns the place, but hey, imagine giving birthday parties there! Must be soooo popular!

At some time in its fabulous past, the estate was in the hands of the same family for eight generations. The last heir murdered his wife so he could be with his mistress, was  (fortunately) convicted and imprisoned, and committed suicide in his cell, a year later. Payback’s a bitch!
