Quais? Sobraram palpites. Faltaram certezas. Pra quem sabe ler, ponto é letra. A recíproca é verdadeira. Desvenda-lhe o…

QOTSA: um minuto de “garage punk”

Cultura no Prato

O Queens of the Stone Age lança no dia 25 de agosto o álbum Villains e o grupo de Josh Homme divulgou ontem o teaser com um trecho da faixa “Here. We. Come.”

with him gone

July 16, 2017 5:25, by O LADO ESCURO DA LUA

the temenos journal

barn doorthose days
still
sometimes
stand and stare
and
wonder where
to go
after
i gave them
mercy
as i
swept them
away,
like cobwebs
in the corners
on a hot summer day,
blowing in the breeze
from a window fan
dangling
and
dancing
in the wind
no more.

Yes, ’n’ how many times can a man turn his head / and pretend that he just doesn’t see?

I didn’t have the money, and I didn’t have anything to play the record on.

As a child, I sensed the wind had a restless, secretive quality. The song’s argument that the answers to life’s vexing questions are blowing around in the wind and that you just have to listen to hear them resonated with me.

From the start…
