I looked in the mirror and I asked my soul to speak
It told me,
“to stay optimistic and you shall never succumb to the weak”
I asked,
“why the world was filled with poverty, pain and sorrow?”
It said,
“because the people have lost the joy for tomorrow“
I asked,
“why humanity is struggling to find peace?”
It said,
“that the majority are driven by ego, selfishness, and greed”
Saddened, I replied,
“what can I do to change it?”
It said,
“to find world peace,
one must tackle first its own needs.
For the pain to cease and joy to increase,
you shall go within,
find the wisdom and then come without.
Carry on in life,
eliminating any self doubt.
Understand that all of the secrets are found inside.
That’s where past life, past love, and answers thrive
Progression is to live, laugh and strive,
Finding your inner…

navigating the path ahead, negotiating the thorns scattering the cold bleak ground,
we walk oblivious of the ravages of tomorrow, not knowing the catapults of bliss and of sorrow,
seeking only peace and contentment here in this torrid realm, adrift at times on waters choppy, hands tied far away from the helm,
yet and still, hope breathes in, the soot of departed yesterdays, seeking evermore the promise of uncharted pathways,
yes, hope breathes, infusing fresh air banishing the stale putrid stench,
urging us ever onwards, imploring us to grab each day, from the detritus of the past,
stilling the mind,

A rejeição
Meu Pai, O Pai, quer me apagar
Quer transformar o que é privado em público
Faz-me sofrer por algo que todos nascem com:
Desejo.
Mas um dia eu desapareço
E ele haverá me apagado
Com a rejeição que meu pai demonstra a meu sexo, entendo como um crime o que deveria entender como amor. Enquanto uns tem o direito de ostentar alianças, eu tenho apenas o de ostentar a clausura. Nasci outra coisa que ele definitivamente não teve a capacidade de vislumbrar. Os anos passam e a hipocrisia só parece aumentar. Eu fui estuprado quando criança. Estuprado! Mas para ele isso não deve ter sido tão grave em comparação ao fato de eu acessar sites pornográficos. Nunca perdoarei meu pai por ter dado a impressão de não se importar com o estupro. Mentira, impressão nada: realidade. Eu não sentirei pena dele. Como ele quer que eu o trate…
