Vencer o mal e o bem,
Antes que, já libertado,
Deixasse…

IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT
27 de Outubro de 2016, 12:23TAORMINA, SICILY
It was a dark and stormy night. I went to my bed craving the sleep that seemed to elude me every night since the start of the visitations. As I crawled into bed by the light of the ghostly moon, I said a brief prayer asking that I be spared a visit tonight.
As I dozed off to sleep, I heard the ghastly sound of the door opening and then the creek of the floor boards as my visitors slipped into the room. I closed my eyes tight like a child willing them to go away. Suddenly a cold hand reached out and touched my shoulder. It was followed by a plaintiff voice that said, “Mommy we’re scared. Can we sleep with you again tonight”.
“It was a dark and stormy night” is an often-mocked and parodied phrase written by English novelist Edward Bulwer-Lytton in the opening…

A MOUTHFUL!
27 de Outubro de 2016, 12:21Because bears are close to the ground, they cannot see down into the water very well.We are taller & thus can see down into the water better. If you could fly up into the air & look straight down, you’d be able to see all the salmon swimming about in that stream.
Some bears have found a way of getting around this ocular disabilty. They know the salmon are swimming around but cannot see them. They look for the fin on the back of the salmon to poke above the water. This is the salmons dorsal fin.The salmon probably isn’t even aware that their fin is above the water? This can only happen in the shallows or when the salmon swims close to the surface. Smart bears look for these fins as a “Hi,I’m over here”sign. They charge into the water & lunge after the fin knowing there is a tasty salmon there.
Thats what is going…
