The answers my friends are blowing in the wind
How many times must governments be told
That global warming is real,
And how many have to die
Before the USA’s gun rights must be denied
The answers still blowing in the wind
How long must all these wrong go on
How many miles must refugees walk
Before they find their lost smiles
The answers are there still blowing
Why are governments so blind
Inciting hate in all its forms, not kind
Discrimination inequality must stop
But when, when will it ever end, WHEN?
Dig deep into your hearts see that blood
Its peace flowing, don’t plug that wound
If we’re going to drowned let’s drowned
For the love of peace, the answer that’s
Blowing in the wind!
