Crianças até aos 18 anos vão ter bombas de insulina gratuitas

Todas as crianças até aos 18 anos com diabetes tipo 1 vão ter acesso de forma gratuita a bombas de insulina dentro de dois anos, segundo informação oficial do Ministério da Saúde.
O tratamento da diabetes tipo 1 pretende assegurar a cobertura até final de 2019 de toda a população em idade pediátrica, até aos 18 anos, de acordo com uma informação dada à Lusa por fonte oficial do Ministério.
O alargamento do acesso a bombas de insulina vai ser feito por três fases: até final deste ano todas as crianças até 10 anos terão cobertura assegurada e até fim de 2018 o mesmo acontece para todas as crianças até 14 anos.
Até final de 2019 será alargada a cobertura às bombas de insulina a toda a população pediátrica, até aos 18 anos.
