…RECUÉRDAME…
17 de Fevereiro de 2017, 8:42
…ALGUNA VEZ ME HAS PREGUNTADO:
“¿POR QUÉ ESCRIBES?”
LA RESPUESTA,
AUNQUE SENCILLA,
ES MÁS COMPLEJA DE LO QUE APARENTA…
…PORQUE TENGO LA NECESIDAD
DE ALIMENTAR PÁGINAS EN BLANCO
CON TRAZOS QUE DICTA
LO MÁS PROFUNDO DE MI SER…
…PORQUE LO ETÉREO
TIENE RAZONES
QUE NI YO MISMA, A VECES,
ENTIENDO…
…PORQUE HAY TANTOS RECUERDOS
INVADIENDO MI CORAZÓN
QUE SÓLO ENCUENTRO EL LIENZO PERFECTO
EN LOS POEMAS QUE INVENTO…
…PORQUE SIEMPRE HAY UN INSTANTE MÁGICO,
UN MOMENTO DEL DÍA
EN QUE TODO FLUYE CON LA LIGEREZA
DE UNA POMPA DE JABÓN…
…PORQUE EN CADA BOCETO
HAY UN PALPITO DE VIDA
QUE A TI TE QUIERO TRANSMITIR
COMPRENDAS O NO MI DIALECTO…
…PORQUE TODAVÍA HAY UNA NIÑA
QUE ASPIRA A SER PRINCESA
EN UN REINO DONDE IMPERE LA LIBERTAD
Y POR ENCIMA DE TODO EL AMOR…
…PORQUE SI ALGO BUENO DE MÍ
PUEDO SEMBRAR EN ESTA TIERRA
VIENE ENVUELTO CON HOJAS VIRTUALES

A long, cold (and worthwhile) wait
17 de Fevereiro de 2017, 8:36Christopher Martin Photography
The photograph above of the snowy owl in flight was taken late in the morning on February 11th. This flight followed a long wait after some good early action. The wait started with a feather cleaning session on an entrance gate which was interrupted by the approach of this truck which prompted the bird to fly to a more isolated spot.
When the vehicle drew too close for the owl’s liking, she launched and flew along the fence line towards the sun.
She didn’t go too far – landing on a post roughly 100 metres away.
We were separated from the owl by a fence line of our own which ran parallel to hers and they were about 80 metres apart. That distance was just fine for me and with a 500mm lens made the subject a reasonable size in the frame. From where I was, the sun angle and the background were both…

Without Consent
17 de Fevereiro de 2017, 8:31Another Twitter rant, lovingly preserved for your delectation. This one was inspired by partisans taking exception to my being disgusted when other partisans compared a tyrannical, pro-police-state politician to women fighting for rights under Islamic theocracies on the grounds that said politician has a vagina. The rant seemed to confuse a lot of doofuses who don’t follow me, but must have seen it in retweets; the idea that the behavior of cops and politicians might be rooted in psychosexual drives was apparently so deeply disturbing to them that many of them felt compelled to hurl insults at me, most of which can be paraphrased as “lol girls are dumb”. But without further ado:
NEW POLICY: Defend a politician in a reply to me, be instantly muted without appeal. Politicians are all sociopaths who want to control others non-consensually. I don’t give a fuck what party they belong to or how much…

The Times of Ignorance
17 de Fevereiro de 2017, 8:23Are they back? Did they ever leave? The times of ignorance, that is.
Biblical ignorance seems to be on the rise; not just among the unbelieving, but those who profess to be Christian. When we have people believing that at their babies death they become an angel; people believing their dead loved one has become an angel, then there is definitely Biblical ignorance. Just stating some things I have noticed. Do not mean to be ugly or mean, just truthful.
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.” Acts 17:30-31 (KJV)
Idol worshiping is what Paul has been addressing in…
