Desafio da terça – VI
1 de Agosto de 2017, 6:35- Calcule o montante de um capital de R$6.000,00, aplicado a juros compostos, durante 1 ano, à taxa de 3,5% ao mês.
(use log 1,035 = 0,0149 e log 1,509 = 0,1788)
Resolução:
P = R$ 6.000,00
t = 1 ano = 12 meses
i = 3,5 % a.m. = 0,035
M = ?
Usando a fórmula M = P.(1+i)n, obtemos:
M = 6000.(1+0,035)12 = 6000. (1,035)12
Fazendo x = 1,03512 e aplicando logaritmos, encontramos:
log x = log 1,03512 => log x = 12 log 1,035 => log x = 0,1788 => x = 1,509
Então M = 6000.1,509 = 9054.
Portanto o montante é R$9.054,00

It Slips Through Your Fingers…
1 de Agosto de 2017, 6:34Time. It’s a funny concept. When you desperately wait for something it seems to not pass by. It seems you are stuck in the moment, not moving. But when you are scared of something or when you don’t want a moment to pass it’s over in no time. We all know that of course.
Over the last couple of weeks I found that time has slowed down, that I live more in the moment and that the days didn’t pass by like split of seconds anymore. That’s because things have slowed down (although I’m busier than usually but I have found peace). Yesterday, though, I was made aware again how fast time flies by.

Author: John Tiffany, Jack Thorne, J.K. Rowling
Published: July 2016 by Little Brown
Genre: Fantasy play
How I got the book: I bought it
Summary:
The Eighth Story. Nineteen Years Later.
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
My Review:
I don’t have much of an introduction for this one. It’s Harry Potter, so of course, I’m going to read it.
When this was…
