There can be a certain thrill to playing as the bad guy, whether you’re in the shoes of Niko Bellic from Grand Theft Auto IV or brutally killing mythological creatures as Kratos from God of War. Do you enjoy playing as a villain, or do you prefer acting with mercy?

Morality and choice have become a popular particularly in RPGs. While some games like The Witcher 3 can take a more ambiguous approach to right and wrong, other franchises like Mass Effect paint it more black-and-white. When given the choice, are you more interested in taking the heroic or villainous route? What about games where you don’t have a choice but to be a monster?
