UOL Host lança cloud OpenStack com cobrança em Real

O UOL Host amplia seu portfólio de cloud computing. A provedora passa a oferecer serviços em nuvem pública na plataforma OpenStack. De acordo com a companhia, a estratégia é direcionar a oferta a pequenas e médias empresas.
A companhia afirma que solução garante maior controle de gastos, já que a cobrança é feita com um procedimento parecido com os sistemas pré-pagos.
“Ou seja, o cliente coloca créditos em sua conta e vai utilizando o serviço, que é cobrado por hora, em reais, via cartão de crédito nacional e de acordo com o consumo dos recursos de seu servidor”, detalha.
O sistema ainda permite que o cliente deixe uma recarga mensal programada, de valor fixo, a sua escolha. Para começar a usar a solução, o usuário só precisa fazer uma compra inicial a partir de R$ 25.
OpenStack é uma plataforma de código aberto que oferece flexibilidade na criação e gestão do ambiente de computação e armazenamento em nuvem, com painel de controle web e uma API para gestão de máquinas virtuais, rede, discos e balanceadores de carga.

São Paulo manteve a 25ª posição no Índice de Cidades com Sociedades Conectadas 2016 da Ericsson. Com o resultado idêntico a edição anterior do levantamento, divulgada em 2014, a metropóle permanece à frente de Cidade do México e Buenos Aires entre as latino-americanas.
Porém, enquanto a representante brasileira ficou estacionada, no comparativo bianual, a capital argentina e mexicana avançaram três posições e agora ocupam a 28ª e 27ª na lista da fornecedora.
A pesquisa mede o desempenho de 41 municípios de todo o mundo a partir de duas perspectivas: desenvolvimento urbano sustentável (social, econômica e ambiental) e maturidade de TI e Telecom (dividida em infraestrutura, acessibilidade e uso de tecnologia).
Estocolmo encabeça o índice, seguida por Londres, Copenhague, Singapura e Paris. Londres é a cidade mais tecnológica.
Segundo a pesquisa, existe uma correlação positiva entre as perspectivas avaliadas. “TIC não é crítica apenas para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico, mas também contribui em favor de um desenvolvimento mais sustentável”.
A Ericsson enfatiza que o planejamento inteligente do espaço urbano será crucial para atingir vários dos Objetivos para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (SDGs) das Nações Unidas. Por exemplo, as cidades serão fundamentais para o avanço da ação climática, redução da pobreza, melhoria da saúde e da educação, bem como melhoria da inclusão social e financeira.
Segundo o índice, até hoje, muitas iniciativas de municípios inteligentes têm usado as tecnologias principalmente para otimizar sistemas e comportamentos existentes. Porém, essa postura deve ser revista.
“As cidades precisam repensar as estruturas existentes para compreender completamente o potencial de TIC para se certificar de que o inteligente seja, de fato, sustentável. A cidade com Sociedade Conectada do futuro é caracterizada pela resistência, colaboração, participação e mobilidade, que são essenciais para assegurar que nossas cidades sejam locais atraentes, sustentáveis e vibrantes”, afirma a provedora.

A Collection Of Stunning Clash Royale Fan Art

Supercell’s Clash Royale is one of the most played games of 2016 in Game Informer’s office. Crown Chests are earned daily by most editors, and a couple have even topped 3,000 trophies. You can’t walk too far here without seeing someone cramming in a quick three-to four-minute match.

The new release brings a revamped user interface, improved search and enhanced analytics. A major addition to Evidence Center 7.5 is the ability to directly access encrypted iTunes backups whether or not the password is known. Unknown passwords can be attacked directly by using the new Decryption module. Automating Instructional Design: Computer-Based Development and Delivery Tools (Nato ASI Subseries F:)

This institute was organized and presented by an international group of scholars interested in the advancement of instructional design automation through theory, research and applied evaluation. Members of the organizing committee included Dr. Klaus Breuer from disce (Germany), Dr. Jose J. Gonzalez from Agder College of Engineering (Norway), Dr. Begofia Gros from the University of Barcelona, Dr. J. Michael Spector from the Armstrong Laboratory (USA). Dr. Gonzalez, co-director of the institute, and the staff of Agder College were directly responsible for the preparation and operation of the institute in Grimstad, Norway. The institute was held on the campus of Agder College of Engineering, July 12-23, 1993. The theme of the institute extended the initial work developed by the presenters at a NATO Advanced Research Workshop held in Sitges, Spain in 1992. During the two week institute, 21 presentations were made including papers and demonstrations. In addition to the formal presentations, working groups and on-site study groups provided opportunities for the students to participate directly in program activities. An important outcome for the working groups was the formal preparation of their efforts in chapters for this volume.
