Mafia 3 E3 trailer is a tale of wrongdoing and revenge

The E3 trailer for Mafia 3 has a little bit of everything: shooting, driving, fighting, chopping off a man’s digits, and spectacular music from Delta Rae. It sets the table for Vietnam veteran Lincoln Clay’s war of revenge against the Marcano family in New Orleans—whoops, sorry, I mean New Bordeaux—and while we don’t see much in the way of gameplay, I’ll say this: I’m a lot more interested in Mafia 3 now than I was yesterday.
Maybe the most interesting part of the trailer is the very brief flash of a Klan cross burning, with a Confederate flag hanging in the background. Lincoln Clay is African American, and Mafia 3 is set in the 60s, a tumultuous time to say the least. It’s a risky subject for a videogame to take on, but the trailer at least implies that 2K isn’t going to simply pretend that the racial strains of the era didn’t happen. It will be very interesting to see how it ultimately confronts them, and how players react to it.

Report: Accidental Rehearsal Broadcast Outs Titanfall 2's Six New Titans, October Release

EA has already fixed its error, but it erroneously posted a portion of its press conference rehearsal and revealed a number of Titanfall 2 details.
The rehearsal was posted here before it was pulled, but it revealed plans for six new Titans all with their own dedicated abilities and an October 28 release date.

CSC mantêm rotinas e estratégias no Brasil enquanto aguarda fusão com HPE

No apagar das luzes do dia 24 de maio de 2016, uma notícia pegou muita gente de surpresa. Na ocasião, a Hewlett-Packard Enterprise revelou que realizaria um spin-off de sua área de Enterprise Services (ES) e essa divisão seria “fundida” com a Computer Sciences Corporation.
Quando a transação foi anunciada, a subsidiária brasileira da CSC se apressou para enviar um comunicado para os principais clientes e prospects, conta Omar Rodrigues, gerente-geral da companhia para a América Latina. “A grande maioria deu uma resposta positiva”, diz.
Em entrevista exclusiva à Computerworld Brasil, o executivo pontua que, enquanto um time dedicado à fusão trabalha globalmente para conduzir as rotinas de aprovação e no mapeamento dos impactos da integração, a operação brasileira mantém o foco e segue as estratégias já traçadas.
“Nosso objetivo é entregar os resultados previstos para o ano, o que já representa um grande desafio”, cita o executivo. Com o mercado nacional passando por dificuldades, a ideia é crescer um pouco o faturamento registrado em 2016 e repor as perdas da inflação.
Para manter os números, a companhia que atua em projetos de implementação e sustentação de software de gestão (principalmente SAP), outsourcing e consultoria de TI pretende focar em fortalecer presença na base de clientes nas verticais de utilities, manufatura e seguros. Há planos, ainda, de gerar negócios nas indústrias de finanças e saúde.
Quando concluída, a fusão de HPE (ES) e CSC dará escala monstruosa a nova organização. A companhia que emerge do processo estará entre os três maiores provedores de serviços de TI do mundo, com presença em 70 países, uma carteira com mais de 5 mil clientes, 20 centros globais de entrega, com faturamento estimado em US$ 26 bilhões.
“Existe muita complementaridade. Eles têm essa abordagem mais de tecnologia enquanto nós focamos em aplicações por indústria”, comenta. Segundo o executivo, menos 15% dos 200 maiores clientes globais atendidos pela CSC estão também na carteira da HPE. No Brasil, a proporção é similar.
A expectativa é que a fusão esteja completa até o final de março de 2017. As empresas projetam que a sinergia entre as operações seja superior a US$ 1 bilhão. Enquanto isso, reforça Rodrigues, a ideia é seguir o que já foi planejado.

Insider Claims God of War 4 Will Be Announced at E3, The Last of Us 2 Won't

Industry insider Shinobi602, who has accurately reported on unannounced games in the past, now claims God of War 4 will be announced at E3 2016, while The Last of Us 2 won’t.
Speaking on the latest episode of Video Game Sophistry, Shinobi said E3 2016 will be the “big coming out party for God of War 4.” He also teased that God of War series hero Kratos is “most likely” in the game, though he may not be the protagonist. Additionally, if the game is indeed real, it might not be called God of War 4, Shinobi said.
A report from April claimed God of War 4 was in development and that it may be based on Norse mythology, instead of Greek.
As for The Last of Us 2, Shinobi suggested Naughty Dog was at least prototyping this game, though he said it’s unlikely it will be announced at E3.
Following the launch of the critically acclaimed original The Last of Us in 2014, director Neil Druckmann said there was a “50/50” chance of a sequel. Naughty Dog’s latest game was another big hit, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
The full VGS interview (watch/listen to it through the video above) contains many more details on what might be announced at E3. Bear in mind that, while Shinobi has a proven track record of revealing things early, nothing is confirmed at this stage.
E3 2016 begins (unofficially) tomorrow, June 12, with EA’s E3 2016 briefing. Sony’s briefing, meanwhile, is slated for Monday, June 13.
