Epson entra no mercado de outsourcing de impressão no Brasil

A Epson do Brasil anunciou sua entrada no mercado de outsourcing de impressão. O movimento vem com o lançamento da linha WorkForce Pro no país. A solução, segundo a fabricante, foi projetada para aplicações corporativas e entrega uma experiência mais eficiente, autônoma e com custos reduzidos.
De acordo com a companhia, o equipamento traz uma série de inovações que facilitam drasticamente o manuseio e a troca dos suprimentos, gerando economia de tempo e gastos com intervenções técnicas, de energia e de recursos ambientais.
“Atualmente, a configuração do mercado de outsourcing no Brasil não oferece diferencial no serviço. Por isso, a oferta de uma nova proposta de valor com foco na experiência do cliente”, justifica a empresa, indicando que a ferramenta é compatível com softwares de gestão já disponíveis.
A provedora desenhou ofertas para diferentes perfis de clientes. A solução de outsourcing será disponibilizada por meio de canais da fabricante e os equipamentos e suprimentos estarão disponíveis a partir de junho.

[Update] We've Received Another Image Of Injustice 2 Poster

Remember when we wrote that look back at the Injustice comic’s five-year run? Some of our readers pointed out that the timing is right for another NetherRealm game, and the comic winding down seemed pretty convenient.
If a new poster leak is accurate, the pieces might be falling into place within the next week. The following popped up this morning via Twitter user “CollapseControl.”

Polygon reports that it received an image from a tipster, too. We’ve reached out to WB (and we’re keeping an eye on chronic tease Ed Boon’s Twitter account). We’ll update if more information emerges.

Update: A reader has provided us with another, different image of the Injustice 2 poster that matches the one that appeared online earlier. This poster measures about 10 inches by 15 inches according to our source, and it bears both the NetherRealm and new DC logos.

Our Take
Posters can be faked, but with the timing of the Injustice comic’s conclusion and the popularity of DC Comics television shows, we’re definitely curious. Take this with a grain of salt at this point, but keep watch for more evidence.

Executivos responsáveis pelo projeto do Fluig deixam a Totvs

A dança das cadeiras segue intensa na Totvs. Depois da saída de Rodrigo Kede, que trocou à fabricante brasileira de ERP para retornar à IBM, a empresa contabiliza mais algumas baixas em posições de liderança.
No movimento público mais recente, Marília Rocca deixou a companhia. Ela ocupava a posição de vice-presidente de serviços e de cloud computing da provedora. Além disso, era responsável pelas estratégias relativas ao Fluig.
Outro que saiu da fabricante foi Gilsinei Valcir Hansen. O executivo, que atuava como diretor de produtos para a plataforma de produtividade e colaboração, assumiu a vice-presidência de Pesquisa & Desenvolvimento da Linx.
De acordo com a assessoria de imprensa da Totvs, quem fica no lugar de Marília à frente das iniciativas de Fluig é Mário Almeida, que ingressou na fabricante em dezembro de 2015. Ele também acumula a liderança das estratégias de mobilidade da empresa.
O projeto nasceu em meados de 2013 com oito módulos, chamados “cards”. A solução – que faz frente a produtos oferecidos por empresas como Microsoft, Hyland e OpenText – recebeu muitos holofotes da Totvs no passado recente.
“Os planos continuam os mesmos. Só houve uma mudança natural de executivos”, garantiu a provedora, sobre a movimentação, por quando indagada pela reportagem de Computerworld Brasil.
Cenário turbulento
A brasileira passa por um momento turbulento em sua trajetória. A saída de Hansen e Marília são apenas os casos públicos mais recentes. No início do ano, a empresa cortou 5% de seu contingente de trabalhadores.
Se não bastasse, a Totvs segue uma tendência de queda e, por mais um ano, vê cair sua participação no mercado brasileiro de sistemas de gestão empresarial (ERP). Segundo levantamento recente da Fundação Getulio Vargas, a hegemonia da companhia nacional começa a ser ameaçada pela alemã SAP.
A diferença entre as duas provedoras na pesquisa que mede a utilização de TI no País caiu para quatro pontos percentuais. Não faz muito tempo que a fornecedora de origem nacional dominava 40% desse segmento de software.
A Totvs caiu 1% nos últimos doze meses e atualmente detém 35% do market share. Entre as pequenas, possui 50% de participação, retração de um ponto frente ao ano anterior. Nas médias e nas grandes, a brasileira manteve o desempenho medido em 2015, com 40% e 20% de mercado, respectivamente.
No outro lado da balança, o estudo revela que a SAP mantém a curva levemente ascendente. Em um ano, a alemã ganhou 1% de participação e agora detém 31% do mercado brasileiro de ERP. O ganho veio junto às pequenas, onde fechou com 11% de mercado. A empresa, porém, se manteve estável nas médias e nas grandes, com 25% e 51% de participação, similares a 2015.

Persona 5 US Release Date Is 5 Months After Japan, Special Edition Announced

Persona 5 is set for a 2016 release in Japan, though it looks like it won’t head to western markets until next year. The follow-up to Persona 4 has been slated for release on February 14, 2017, meaning it launches in the US almost five months after Japan.
The date was announced in a press release alongside the “Take Your Heart” Premium Edition, which is exclusive to the PS4 version. It comes with a 64-page hardcover art book, a four-inch plush figurine of Phantom Thieves member Morgana, and the soundtrack on CD. People who purchase the collector’s edition also get a steelbook case, a full-size Shujin Academy school bag, and a themed box to keep it all together. The Premium Edition costs $89.99, and you can check it out in the gallery below.
Those who are only interested in the steelbook case can get it if they preorder. It’s a limited day-one run only available for the PS4 version at $59.99. The PS3 version comes in a normal case for $49.99. You can check out the box art in the gallery above.
Persona 5 launches for PS4 and PS3 on February 14, 2017. You can check out the game’s stunning menus and UI right here.
Director Katsura Hashino talked about Persona 5’s characters last year and said they don’t fit in with society, but they’re brought together by a common goal after discovering a special item.
