We have this tendency in the US to slam on our brakes over newsworthy events that rise to headlines and main stories in the media.

Babies left in hot cars by careless parents, guardians or caregivers.

Never again, we say, as if the mere thought or statement will stop it from happening again.

Campus shootings, or bullet rampages in public arenas where random lives are lost to those with severe emotional problems.

Never again, we say.

Police brutality, or profiling that results in a body on the street in the heat of the moment.

Never again, we say.

Toluca, Méx.- Como parte del Programa México Conectado, el Gobierno del Estado de  México, en alianza con el Gobierno de la República, tiene como meta habilitar al menos una biblioteca digital en cada uno de los municipios de la entidad, para formar una red de espacios de consulta y aprendizaje, informó el secretario de Educación, Raymundo Martínez Carbajal en conferencia de prensa.

Actualmente se encuentran en funcionamiento 76 bibliotecas digitales: 23 en instalaciones escolares, una en el Centro Cultural Mexiquense, en Toluca, y 52 en igual número de municipios.

“Como parte de esta estrategia, el gobernador Eruviel Ávila Villegas asumió el compromiso de crear estas bibliotecas en todo el territorio mexiquense, para que los usuarios de cualquier perfil pueden hacer uso de una computadora con internet y acceder a un amplio contenido informativo y poder resolver necesidades académicas, profesionales y personales, detalló.
