天理・大和神社「紅しで踊り」

戦艦大和の守護神として有名な天理・大和（おおやまと）神社。日本最古の神社とも記されていました。
戦艦大和の模型が展示室に多く並んでいました。
秋の大祭で「紅しで踊り」が奉納されました。
江戸時代、干ばつに苦しむ農民が大和神社に雨乞いを行ったところ願いが成就して豊作となり、感謝の気持ちを踊りで奉納した「雨乞い満願踊り」が前身だそうです。
一時、途絶えたそうですがS30年代に女性だけで「紅
しで踊り」が復活。近年幼稚園児も参加して盛り上げてくれています。
鼓、鉦と唄に合わせて踊る素朴なものです(^_-)-☆

Note from BW of Brazil: White teacher. Black student. Brazilian school. Monkey? In reality, there’s not much necessary to even say about this incident. Another day in Brazil. Another example of Brazil’s ‘racial democracy’. But as you read about this latest case, always keep in mind, “não existe racismo no Brasil” (racism doesn’t exist in Brazil)!

A 14 year old black student was called macaco (monkey) by a teacher in the Instituto de Educação Clélia Nanci (Clélia Nanci Institute of Education) in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro. The case happened on Monday and the teacher in question was removed on Wednesday (21). The teenager’s family filed a complaint…
